Project: buildOn Bucket List Challenge Project Total: $150,000 Amount to Riase: $75,000 Matching Funds Available: Yes
The Clear Lake Virtual Lions are proud to support the buildOn Bucket List Challenge project started by club member Lion Jesse Bolinger. Fifteen years ago Jesse learned about buildOn, a nonprofit that builds schools in villages of third world countries, and added building a school to his bucket list. Earlier this year he decided to take this project on and the decided to bring it to Lions!
The project goal is $150,000. Even more exciting is this amount not only includes the cost of building the school, but the cost of up to 15 individuals traveling to the Village Inn Nepal to break ground on the school. We anticipate groundbreaking taking place in late 2024 or early 2025.
This project qualifies for a matching grant from the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF). We need your help to raise $75,000 to apply to have the remaining funds matched. Any individual Lion or Lions Club that contributes will assist in reaching this goal!
